Building permits are required for various types of projects, detailed below.

Building permit applications can be picked up at Town Hall located in the Chesterfield Government Center, 17 Veteran’s Boulevard, Chesterfield, IN.
Town Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm; however, Town Hall is closed from 12pm – 1pm for lunch.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, money order and credit / debit cards (except VISA).
