The Town of Chesterfield Planning Commission’s primary role is to guide community development by creating comprehensive plans, recommending zoning ordinance changes and development plan review.
The Planning Commission meets on an as needed basis at Millcreek Civic Center’s Memorial Hall.

Written Tesimonies:
In accordance with Indiana law, a person may not communicate with any member of the Planning Commission before a hearing with the intent to influence the member’s action on a matter pending before the board. Not less than five days before the hearing, however, town staff may file with the board a written statement setting forth any facts or opinions relating to matters pending before the board.
