The Chesterfield Police Department is a community-oriented law enforcement agency serving the Town of Chesterfield, Indiana located between Anderson & Muncie, Indiana.  Our agency provides the community with emergency response and criminal investigation services.  In addition, we assist other public safety agencies at the Federal, State and Local levels.  Personnel of the department are trained and equipped to provide quality services to our citizens, business and visitors 24/7.

Police and Accident Reports

All reports taken by the officers of the Chesterfield Police Department are considered to be public record and are available to anyone who wishes to obtain copies. All copies are available at the current fee of $8.00 per copy. Multiple copies may be discounted at the discretion of the Chief of Police or the Town Council.

You can pick up copies during the following times:

• Monday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Tuesday:  9 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Wednesday:  9 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Thursday:  9 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Friday:  9 a.m.-10 p.m.
