Women’s Self-Defense Program

Ed Leonard, Instructor

The Town of Chesterfield periodically hosts a free women’s self-defense course at the Millcreek Civic Center. Participants from age 13 through senior citizens can participate in a low physical impact course to sharpen their defensive skills and review personal safety information. The two hour program is instructed by former Anderson Police Chief and Town Council member Ed Leonard. Ed uses his 45 plus years of law enforcement training and his 54 plus years of martial arts training to make a realistic program that consists of easily learned techniques .

Those interested can call the Town Hall at 765-378-3331 and place their name on the registration list.  Once a class is scheduled, participants will be contacted two weeks before the class with further information.

Fun Bingo

With Deb Dunham

Come join us for Fun Bingo night the first Wednesday of each month.

Enjoy the fellowship with other participants during this 2 hour fun filled event. Meet new friends and delight in the excitement. Some research has reported that bingo can have physical benefits to the participants such as: enhancing hand-eye coordination, boosting cognitive abilities, increase socialization and just having plain old fun for a happier life.

Small prizes are often presented during the games. Participants are encouraged and welcome to bring snacks while they play.

We look forward to seeing new faces each month.
