The council meetings are generally held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, at the Chesterfield Government Center, 17 Veterans Blvd. Meetings may be held on the second Tuesday of each month when the first Tuesday of each month follows a Monday holiday.

The Chesterfield Town Council is responsible for

• Approving or rejecting resolutions
• Approving or rejecting ordinances
• Appropriating the town budget
• Supervising city employees

Town Council meeting minutes are available for pickup at the Chesterfield Town Hall.
